Louis Kalhern "Grandpa Lou" Pickles (born November 8, 1915) is the father of Drew and Stu Pickles, and the paternal grandfather of Tommy, Dil, and Angelica from Rugrats, and who makes a single cameo appearance in the Rugrats and Wild Thornberrys crossover movie, Rugrats Go Wild!. He is a caring grandfather, and loves to spend time with his grandsons and their friends. He is voiced by the late David Doyle (1990-1997) and the late Joe Alaskey (1997-2008).
Role in Rugrats Go Wild![]
At the beginning on the movie, in the Pickles' backyard, Lou was first seen sleeping when Tommy walks up to the TV and sees Nigel Thornberry in the jungle on another episode of Sir Nigel Thornberry's Animal World. Lou then wakes up an tells Tommy that "Sir Nigel" gets into some real scrapes out in the wild, but he always manages to wiggle out of it somehow.
It's unknown why he didn't go on the vacation on the Lipschitz Cruise with the rest of the family.
